7-Elevens convenience started off as an American invention back in the early 1920s. But like toilets, it has been reimagined and improved upon by our compadres over in the Eastern hemisphere. So much so that its fair to say that 7-Elevens in Asia are significantly more awesome than the 7-Elevens here in the US. While there’s no other place where you can get a Slurpee, a pregnancy test and a tire iron at 8am in the morning, our Eastern counterparts can pay their water bills and buy a chicken dinner all from the convenience of their local 7-Eleven.  So its efficiency and comfort in a different form.

I don’t expect our American 7-Elevens to take out my garbage while making me coffee at the same time(Science?). But 7-Elevens in Asia are a way of life.
