Ladyironchef, a very popular Singaporean food blog, recently provided a review of their local Outback Steakhouse. For the rest of us, its almost a given that all of us have stepped foot into an Outback Steakhouse at some point in time. Visiting Outback is like eating a blooming onion, it always ends up being a night full of regrets. It is not out of the realm of possibility that you’ll be curled up in a fetal position next to the bar stools begging for mercy.
What’s unique about Ladyironchef‘s perspective is that here in the US, Outback Steakhouse is so ubiquitous that no one would ever think to do a review. To me, its like writing a yelp review on a McDonald’s. Who gives a shit. But Ladyironchef, the premier foodie blog in Singapore, has taken it one step further, citing their 10 best reasons as to why Outback Steakhouse is the greatest restaurant since the Olive Garden.
I guess looking through the pictures it makes you realize the dining experience in Asia is vastly different than the US. I mean, Pizza Hut is considered a sit-down, first date worthy, romantic restaurant in China and you can even host a wedding reception in Hong Kong. So I guess it makes sense that an Outback Steakhouse in Singapore can be actually legitimate.
But don’t take our word for it. Head on over to ladyironchef and take a look at the review yourself. I mean, damn, even their blooming onion looks pretty good.
