Bo Lo Baos are great. Bo Lo Baos with ice cream… un-frickin-believable. I don’t know why no one has ever thought about this before because its as good an idea as ever. This is especially appropriate when the tried and true formula of sticking ice cream between two chocolate crackers has run its course and you need something fresh.
In both Taiwan and Hong Kong(where the bo lo bao is king), vendors have been selling this artisan ice cream sandwich for quite a while. Even in high end department stores in Taipei are getting in on the action, selling the variation of bo lo bao ice cream that you see here.
