From the guys that brought you the Bacon Festival of America, comes the newest additional to Bay Area’s Summer Food Festival. The San Jose based, street food caterers, Moveable Feast, will be bringing the first ever “foodie rave” by combining two of our favorite things: Sriracha sauce and EDM (Electronic Dance Music). I mean, who doesn’t love the “rooster sauce”? It goes good on everything; pho, pizza, fries, steak, egg, burrito, fried chicken, sushi. The list could go on forever.
I don’t know if this idea is genius or insane, or INSANELY GENIUS. What I do know is that this event will figuratively and literally, light a fire in your soul, in your stomach, in your steps while you’re shuffling, and probably YOUR BUTT.
The Electronic Sriracha Festival will place at St. James Park, San Jose, during Labor Day weekend on Saturday, August 30th from 12-8PM. Featuring 24 acts on 3 stages spread over two city blocks, including 4 bars and 120 Sriracha-infused dishes from over 40 food trucks. This dance party is curated by John Beaver, a rising star in the Bay Area’s music scene that performed at this year’s Coachella.

We can rest assure that there will be no Sriracha cake throwing (hopefully), knowing that Steve Aoki is not in the lineup. Can you imagine how painful that would be if it gets in your eye?
