Mall food courts are as much a part of American culture as shopping at Wal-Mart in sweatpants. That is to say, we typically think no other country in the world does either better than us(including rocking sweatpants). Imagine my surprise when I saw the most pristine and majestic food court in that world, situated within the Marina Bay Sands mall in Singapore. The food court is unlike anything I have ever seen before. Rather than the typical Sbarro, Subway and Orange Julius that we find here in the United States, Marina Bay Sands food court has a dizzying array of ethnic and regional fares that I’m just not accustomed to. Not to say the selection wasn’t stupendous(it is), but the presentation is on a whole different level that is unseen in the US.
Rasapura Masters is a multi-ethnic food court located in the high-end shopping mall known as the Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands. Selection is abundant and prices are reasonable, so there is bound to be something for everyone.
Plenty of seating, so you’ll always have some place to park your butt.
You have your choice of Indonesian cuisine, mandarin cuisine, hainanese cuisine, malaysian and singaporean.
